I think we got a misunderstanding, by braggars and showing off, I mean "look at what I got" not wearing the stuff in town. I personally Like some FoW armor *necro and para mostly*,but I don't think it looks that good with Chaos Gloves and a *bleh* bandana. Also, I would not say that is the ENTIRE point of PvE, and as for "it is a matter of opinion", truth be told, everything is.

wammo FoW+ Chaos Gloves. It jujst looks odd having armor end above the elbow, then 10cm down have glowy hands. The combo doesnt flow very well IMO.

I think armors are for personal taste, I like some FoW styles and some I don't. The EotN special gloves/masks are okay if you like them. Buying any armors/weapons skins not because you like it but just to show off is absolutely lame. Just get what you like, the hell with what internet strangers think of your character.

Most titles don't impress me...PvE ones are grind-based...just shows you had time to burn. Bambis who flash constantly and talk down to "PvE scrubs" (even though they are just "PvP scrubs") are probably the ones who annoy me most.

Weapon = Tormented Sword (seriously who wants to beat someone with a potato peeler)
Armor = Black Obsidian (all classes) and Ninja Masks (Seriously why give the narutards more reasons to give assassin bad rep)
Accomplishment = "OMG I JUST CLEARED FOW AND GOT A CRAPPY R12 (insert rare skin)!"

Female Mesmer 15k Canthan is best armor evar.

Most overrated thing in the game in general: low req weapons. Seriously, it doesn't matter if the sword is r8 or 13. If you have less than 13 you shouldn't be using a sword anyway! Sure, I can understand where it matters: on daggers and (rarely) on bows, but there's no good reason a r8 sword should be worth less than 13.

Yah, not everyone has it so simple to farm when they chose their proffesions. As a paragon, I don't see myself going into almost ANY groups, even if I ran SY! 24/7, they would be like one of the people when i asked if i could join, "No.Nub.Paras suck." Yah, this is about 99.99999% of the community.

try to find a q7 drop? haha yeah u cant.

Nothing is overrated really, just get what you like. if you like ninja monks, then go for it. if u dont like it dont hate, perhaps someone may say "eww your armor combo sucks and is fugly!!!" u never know.

well, I won't claim to have the definitive answer, just some personal opinions

overrated title: sweet tooth. I'm not ashamed to say I bought my way through this. At least alc title involves a lot of waiting and timing.

overrated armor: ninja mask. 100g/per for charr carvs is hella cheap, I got a stack just by playing through the game with a half dozen toons (as in never farming), and if you really want them, pay a CoF runner and afk it.

overrated skin: definitely the elemental sword. I farmed raptors till I got one, then equipped it and just said 'meh'. It's simply not interesting. Maybe if it were glowing and animated.

overrated accomplishment: obviously, DoA, ala ursanway.

the irony is I've bought the sugar title, sold countless charr carvs (never traded for mask though), farmed 4 elemental swords (well, those were the icing, mostly going for mods and event items) and done probably 20 ursanway DoA full runs.

edit: wanna QFT JONO's post. Wammos in black dyed fissure with chaos gloves is plain ugly, it just looks totally wrong, plus you know the mentality that went behind that choice.

Anything to do with PvE is overrated.
PvP titles are overrated.
Mastication is also overrated. soup = ftw

The only things that are worthy of notice are a true sense of style (black warr FoW + Chaos Gloves =/= style kthx) and true player skill.

Overrated skin: Gotta agree with the Ele sword. I got one drop for me, took one look at it and thought "Who would want to be seen with this butt-ugly thing?" and merched it.

Title: The one that the wearer is openly bragging about.

Armor: What one person sees as fugly, another may love. (Female Mesmer FoW is ugly??? - what's up with that. LOL) So what gets my "Overrated" vote in this catergory is straight black dye

Agree. I love walking around and looking at peoples armor combinations, whether its all black fow or blue kurzick, its still nice to see. As for titles I applaud and respect people that reach high HA and Koabd ranks. They actually put EFFORT into the game to get them, it is no easy task. And having 30 titles maxed doesnt make someone a lifeless geek. You can do one mission and vanquish a day and get them eventally. This thread is just full of The most ignorant QQ ers that dont have anything better to do then bash people that play the game better then they can.
